PACIFIC JOURNEYS is an adventure company that focuses on Eco-tourism and Education. Our emphasis is on sustainable development and tourism, in hopes of preserving our natural resources for future generations. For this reason, our organization uses composting toilets, solar and wind turbines, methane gas stoves, and small hydro-pumps. We also stress the importance of recycling and practicing leave no trace ethics while traveling and exploring.

Through our multi-day, two day and one day journeys we hope to expose people to different perspectives and educate them about sustainable development and tourism. We believe that tourism can be a positive influence to the local cultures as well as the natural environments; therefore it is our promise to be informative about preservation and protection while having fun along the way!

In addition to educating visitors about sustainable tourism, we offer several rescue courses to educate eager students important rescue skills and techniques. As the adventure tourism field continues to grow, Pacific Journeys, along with Adventure Safety and Rescue, are committed to bringing the highest standards of safety to Costa Rica.
